Aldrich Knight Bio
Aldrich Knight was born in England. A lifelong fascination with the arts culminated in a successful career in design, working in a fast-paced and stressful agency environment. At the age of 27, they left the life they had cultivated behind and set out to travel the world. It was a journey of discovery that left them forever changed, opening up horizons and exposing them to new cultures and places.
They returned to England renewed but could no longer slip comfortably into their former life, knowing that beyond the familiar routine, there were new places to explore, people to meet, and adventures to be had.
This awakening took them to Australia, living in Sydney, where a better work/life balance gave them the time to indulge their passion to create, travel, and explore. They relocated to Byron Bay, the place where they learned to surf and had some of their greatest days and nights.
A decade later, both Byron and Aldrich have changed considerably. Parenthood was the most profound and life-altering experience imaginable. Work paid the bills but was no longer satisfying their creative itch, so they returned to art and writing, starting work on the novel that would become Infest.
Two nights before Christmas, a silent menace descends upon Sydney. Mutated cockroaches with a ravenous hunger for flesh emerge from the shadows. The city becomes a battleground as the swarming creatures wreak havoc, catching humanity off guard in a relentless onslaught.
Authority crumbles in the face of the unprecedented threat, leaving the city in a state of anarchy. Individuals face a choice between cooperation and self-preservation. Their decisions shape their destinies in a new world where cockroaches have risen as the apex predators.
Infest delves into the lives of a diverse and disparate group of people forced together by the shared struggle for survival against the ruthless creatures and the darker side of human nature.
As the group battles through the transformed city, their journey becomes a test of physical survival and the resilience of the human spirit.
